NewQuest Geotechnology (NQ) has been contributing in geothermal energy development for 10 years. Since its establishment in 2011, NQ has been involved in more than 40 geothermal areas in Indonesia and Malaysia with resources discovery for more than 3 GW. In order to express our gratitude of NQ achievements and celebrate 10 years of its contribution, NQ organize several series of events under NQ 10 Years Annivesary, including Geothermal Photo & Video Competition.
Geothermal Photo and Video Competition is one of the competitions to commemorate the 10th anniversary of NewQuest Geotechnology. This competition is an event for promote geothermal energy as renewable energy to the general public by shows the beauty of all aspects of geothermal. We hope that geothermal can be known more widely, especially in areas that have geothermal potential.
This competition raised various issues related to geothermal landscape in terms of manifestations such as hot spring, fumaroles, mudpool etc. Geothermal landscapes that can be used as objects can also be direct use of geothermal such as hot swimming pools and utilization as geothermal power plants. Other things that may be related to geothermal can also be raised up in this competition.
Selected Photos & Videos which pass the requirements will be uploaded on NQ social media and a further judging process will be carried out. The winner of this competition will be announced at the summit of 10 Year NQ Anniversary Day.
